    Apps won’t launch on my pc


    I tried to install minecraft but it won’t launch. I’ve tried downloading the launcher from the microsoft store but again will not launch. I thought the problem would be with the xbox app as I think i’ve deleted stuff related to it in the past so I tried to install that but after I press “Let’s go” on the installation an error occurs. (Same happens with downloading minecraft, I press “Let’s go” and It won’t launch. It also isn’t downloaded anywhere on my PC) I just want to know if there’s a way to reset the whole xbox thing on my pc. This could also be an issue with the microsoft store? I’m not sure also i don’t know if this is the right place to post this…sorry!

    Since it sounds like something might be off with the Xbox Gaming Services or Microsoft Store components on your PC, a good first step is to reset both apps.

    Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps, search for both "Xbox App" and "Microsoft Store," then open their Advanced Options. From there, try first repairing, and if that doesn't help, resetting each app and then restart the PC.

    Press Windows + R to launch Run, type wsreset.exe, and hit Enter.

    Once the reset process is finished, restart your PC and then check if the Windows Store App works as it should.

    The Xbox App depends on the Microsoft Store App to run properly. So, if there is something wrong with the Store app, many apps won’t launch or won’t download anything.

    In this case, resetting the Store cache can fix the problem, so make sure you do that by following the steps above.
