    Xbox 360 profile picture isn't changing on newer consoles.


    So, I've recently been playing on the Xbox 360 after months of inactivity. I changed my Xbox 360 gamerpic to one that I bought from the Xbox 360 marketplace before it shutdown, specifically this one from the Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD gamerpic pack. As shown here:

    On my Xbox One, it seems to have kept the Xbox 360 gamerpic from before I went inactive for a few months:

    After noticing that it doesn't change, I went on to an Xbox 360 game (specifically SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV ARCADE EDITION) just to find that it's a default one:

    Is there a way to get it all working again, or will I just have to suffer with using the same one from before I stopped using it for a few months?

    How to revert to xbox 360 gamerpic on xbox one

    So far, it seems there isn't a way to revert to your Xbox 360 gamer picture on the Xbox One console. You could try deleting your profile from your console, signing in on your Xbox 360, and changing your gamer picture on there. Then redownload your profile
    onto your Xbox One, and see if that works. It didn't seem to work for one of the above posters, though. You'd have to find a way to erase your data (gamer pictures or account history) on the Xbox One, which I don't think is possible.

    Please, try changing to another profile picture and observe if the process is faster, then, attempt the change with your prior profile picture.

    Xbox Gamerpic back to default, unable to make custom one

    I'm having the same issue. Custom profile picture will not change after successful upload. Tried to change on Console, Xbox Companion app and through website. Nothing worked... thought maybe it was because my account was newer. Now I know it is not just me having issues. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

    OP, I have no idea as to how to change the picture via Xb web site, but if you have gamer pictures on your 360 console.

    Settings >profile >edit profile >gamer picture >change gamer picture (This is the one which will show up here on the forums.. Takes an hour or more for the changes)

    Or >change personal picture. (Which will show on the console itself.)

    This is how I change my picture for both the console and my forum picture.

    You can DL free gamer pictures etc by going to games via the console. Click search and then enter >free gamer pictures< and/or themes. Hope this helps!
