Resident Evil 7 PC crashing on launch and Audio problems.

Hi,

So after not playing through Resident Evil 7 in a while i launched it on a new computer only to find that the game will not launch properly It just crashes at the screen where it says connecting to network.

Did some searching and if you disable the network connection then launch the game it gets you to the main menu as normal and you can activate the network connection again however this is not an acceptable solution.

Another reason for this post is also that the audio after a while starts to bug out. Sounds stop playing, gunshots, footsteps and voicelines etc.

Thought this might be some desync issue and started messing with framerates and Vsync, weirdly only some sounds came back when setting frames to 60 or 30.

Did some more searching and found out that people deleting the MSSpatial.dll in the Resident Evil 7 folder on Steam installs fixed the problem.

I cannot do that with my PC Xbox install though as the entire game is stuffed into a .pak file.

This game worked great on my previous computer that ran Windows 10, but my new one running Windows 11 has these problems.

AMD Ryzen 7800X3D

64GB DDR5

Nvidia RTX 4090

Judging by the reviews on the Resident Evil 7 store page alot of other people has this same problem.
