Lego Dimensions for Xbox 360

I found an unopened copy of Lego Dimensions (starter pack with game and pad) plus some unopened expansion packs (like Back to the Future and Doctor Who) at a garage sale, and I'm wondering if my son, who still has a working Xbox 360, would be able to play them. Would the fact that the Xbox 360 store is now unavailable prevent him from installing and updating the game with the DLC from the expansion packs?

I don't want to give it to him if it's not going to work. Any advice/info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello. It seems that this Lego Dimension Pack is meant for the Xbox 360, and is not backwards compatible to work on the Xbox one. Just to cover all bases:

Are the portals for the Xbox One specifically, or were these portals bought for the Xbox 360 version of Skylanders or Lego Dimensions?

The Xbox 360 versions of the portals don't work on the Xbox One.

Try removing the DLC and Title Update from the hard drive, then clear the console cache with

these steps and see if it helps.

i'm sorry it won't work, the Xbox 360 store is closed and is required to redeem all of those add-ons. The base game on the disc would likelywork
