    Hard to control games until restart


    Having a recurring issue where games are extremely hard to control, almost to the point they become unplayable. If I restart the console they act perfectly fine. This has occurred on multiple games and with multiple controllers. It doesn't happen every time I start the console, but better than 50% chance. Not sure what to try, but very frustrating to load all the way into a game just to find I need to restart to make it playable.

    Hard reboot should do the trick. Hold the Xbox logo on the system until its completely shut down and then restart with your Xbox controller.

    I hate to say this again but doing a hard Reset will fix this until the next time. Hold down power button until it turns off then restart and try party again. Also make sure the controller is updated and the chat connector is attached.

    I used the controller to turn off the console and the controller stayed on after it went off. When I tried to use the controller to turn on the console with the controller the controller came on but not the console. Everything works fine after after a hard
    reset. But only until I turn it off and restart it, then it happens all over again.

    cant update the controller

    i connected the headset to the first one updating (just because it was already connected) but didnt on the 2nd controller...they both updated just fine. I did do a hard reset on the system before i updated the controllers...try holding down the power button
    on front of the console until it turns off and then restart the system to hard reset it.
