    Hi,

    I'm having trouble accessing my old Microsoft account, which is connected to my Minecraft account. When I try to log in—specifically through the Badlion Client—it says that the account doesn’t have Minecraft. It then gives me the option to create a new account, and I did that using the same email address, but Minecraft still isn’t linked to it.

    I also tried logging in at Minecraft.net, but it acted like I was creating a brand new account, asking me to choose a username. Again, I used the same email and username, but it created a completely separate account with no Minecraft attached.

    The main issue is this: I need access to my original Microsoft account, the one that actually has Minecraft on it. Somehow, I'm only able to access a new account with the same email, and my old data is gone. I don’t understand how it’s possible to create a new account with an email that was already in use.

    Please help me recover my original Microsoft account, because my Minecraft account is linked to it, and I need both back.

    This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in. Please be advised that our accounts’ primary key in accessing them through the system are our primary email addresses. Without knowing the correct email address, we may not be able to recover the correct account. Also, it’s the email address or phone number on our account aliases is needed to begin the account recovery process.

    You may check your emails or email history to find traces where your Minecraft account was possibly migrated to. You can also try to check it on this link https://account.live.com/username/recover by entering your gamertag or a phone number that’s possibly linked to your account.

    i want to recover an old minecraft account but i have no clue what email was used to create the account. there likely isnt a phone number attached to the account, but if i am reminded of the email i can probably somehow recover the email. please help!
    looking at other posts similar, i would like to clarify, i dont know my email for this account, minecraft.net directed me here.

    If you have a Skype username or phone number associated with the same account then you can recover it using that but otherwise youd have to find out the email somehow. Its not possible to recover an account without it and support can't tell you what the email is.
