    Error code 0x80070070 Series X


    As I try to update my Microsoft Store app on my Series X, I get the error code approximately every 10 seconds. After spending what feels like hours trying to find a solution, I found a fix for what must be a small error.

    It’s simple: cancel the update and, assuming the update actually completed (my Store app had made it to ~550mb, way too big of an update for the Store), open up the app and it will update again and actually complete the update.

    I have no idea how this will go if this somehow happens with a game, but for apps this seems to be a workaround.

    Are you trying to install the game on external or internal HDD?

    Try, however, to clear the cache by holding down the power button for 10 secs and try again.
