    I'm using my dead uncles old account but forgot the password. No one knows the password to his Microsoft account and I'm not leveled enough to cast communicate with dead. Is there a way to change what Microsoft account Minecraft responds to?

    Unfortunately, after you link a Minecraft: Java Edition account to a Microsoft Secure Account (MSA), the accounts are permanently linked and cannot be unlinked. However, I would highly suggest getting in touch with Mojang Support to see if they can change the email.

    I'm afraid there isn't a way to unlink the account from this end. You could try reaching out to Minecraft support if they can do it for you.
