    SLOW XBOX PC APP DOWNLOAD SPEED


    The XBOX PC app download speed is in KB, while my network speed is 500Mbps. No other game platform is having this issue, steam, epic, ea, and all other platform is downloading at 60MBps (500+ mbps).

    This is so annoying to a point that I feel like cancelling my gamepass subscription. How can I play games when windows takes a month to download a game. And only windows takes a month to download, on their own operating system.

    I have tried everything all the cliche copy paste solutions (yes, I did tried turning it off and on again, please do not suggest that.)

    I have 2 PC and 2 Laptop. IT is not a problem with my network ( steam and epic still works with other apps as well)

    I have tried different network and different geographical locations in India, still the same issue (well if the ms server is the issue, this would not help)

    I have formatted, reinstalled and did all the copy paste solution.

    The only thing can showed at least a little bit of improvement was using vpn. And that too not a major change, I saw a jump from 1mbps to 6 ~ 8 mbps.

    This has been happening from the moment I started using gamepass. And I am not the only person as well. Still there is no fix.

    Hi XBF,

    Thank you for the tips, I do note that these tips are for a actual Xbox whereas I use PC Xbox App. So definitely no games running. My brother uses actual Xbox in our house and his speeds are fine, over 30 mb/s it only seems to be the PC Xbox app that is slow at downloading (as noted I download games from Steam on same PC and speed is fine). Any recommendations?
