I bought Minecraft and can only play the demo version.

Hello There ! I highly advise you to get in touch with Minecraft support regarding this matter.

I am logging into Minecraft Java Edition with the Microsoft account that I migrated my Mojang account to, and instead of being a full/paid version of Minecraft, it is only offering me to play the Minecraft "demo" version.

Is this the Minecraft Java Edition? If yes, kindly check the information below to fix it.

1. Please double-check you are logging in to the same Microsoft account you used to migrate your Mojang account.

2. Make sure you are not logging in with your Mojang account. Migrated accounts will only be able to log in with your Microsoft account.

Kindly sign out your account on Minecraft Launcher then restart your PC before signing back in. Make sure to choose "Microsoft Login" and make sure that it's the correct account where you have successfully migrated your Mojang account.

I don't see why you can't. the full version of Minecraft lets you play 2-4 player local co-op. but if you try to play the demo version of Minecraft and it doesn't let you play with more then 1 controller then Minecraft blocks the 2-4
player local co-op on the demo version.

Just a friendly reminder though that the license of Minecraft on a different device is different from the one that is on PC but let's check.

May I ask where did you friend purchased the game? Is this through Google playstore?
