Why do I no longer own Minecraft?

Please verify your account migration by making sure that you’re using the correct Microsoft account that you migrated to because it’s easy to accidentally log into a different Microsoft account that doesn’t have the game attached.

Log into https://www.minecraft.net/en-us with the @outlook.com email you migrated to and check your account status under Profile Settings. If you see the game listed there, the issue might be tied to the launcher or Xbox integration.

And then confirm ownership via Microsoft account. To do this, open Microsoft Account Services https://account.microsoft.com>; Order history and check if Minecraft is listed under your purchased.

If Minecraft ownership is confirmed via the website or services, kindly log out of the Minecraft Launcher and signing back in. Please ensure that you are using the same Microsoft account. Restart the Launcher after logging back in.

This has happened to me before, doing a hard reset to my xbox (holding down the console power button for 10 seconds). hasn't failed me as far as this issue goes yet so hopefully it'll help you!

You need to look for the account that made the purchase of the game to be able to play again, the account that made the purchase will have the game listed on the order history

Once you find the account, that account will need to be logged on the Microsoft store app to have access to the game

check your purchases page to see if you can locate it in your past purchases. It may be that you purchased it under a different gamertag. Another thing to check is if you were playing it as a free trial and forgot, however if you did purchase the full version
on your current gamertag then it should show in your past purchases
