Xbox power question

Hello, currently I have my Series X set to energy saving mode. So when I finish playing and turn off my Xbox, is it necessary to unplug it from the wall if I won't be playing for a while, or always having it plugged in to the wall is fine? Also If I have Xbox on Energy saving mode does it effect brightness or other display settings when playing games?

It only governs what happens when it's off. It will use more power in standby than energy saving, but it will be able to install things and do updates

Yup ign just posted another flame bait topic on the power difference. Guess it must be a slow news day. I really hate how ign plays both sides against each other for hits. It's just cheap and sad.
