Why does Microsoft ignore my support requests

    I have had the exact same issue for months, that issue being that I can't use my phone number because it tells me the country code is wrong even though it isn't. I've tried to contact them about this so many times, through email, through support chat, and I've even made 2 of these posts before. My 2nd account was randomly locked and I can't unlock it because my number won't work. I have tried literally everything to unlock my account, I've filled out a form that required me to prove the account was mine, but apparently it wasn't enough. I contacted support through chat, and that was promising.. I was told to wait 1-2 days, and they never emailed back even after I emailed asking about it. I filled out an account unlock form, didn't get a response back. All the times I've made one of these community posts, I've gotten replies back that literally tell me to do exactly what I said did NOT work. Like I clearly state that it won't accept my phone number, and I'll be told to try using my phone number. It's been almost a month, I just want my account, but the support keeps ignoring me or telling me to keep doing what I've already done. Please someone help me unlock my account.

    - Phone number won't work

    - Support chat doesn't help

    - Emails are ignored

    - Account ownership can't be proven

    - No reponse from the unlock form

    - I don't have access to another number

    - These community posts tell me to do what doesn't work

    Please is there any other way? I just wanna play my games

    aka.ms/familyverify does not work

    Same problem here. I've followed the verify steps numerous uncountable times to no avail. Why does Microsoft keep asking me to have my child's account reverified? I think I'll just ignore future reverification requests. Frustrating.

    So... Despite massive issues, including completely revamping of the rewards program (removing of the daily log in quests because they were so broken) and then un-revamping of the same broken features, this community's official take on the rewards program is "they're trying their hardest?" I have yet to have a month go by without there being some new crippling bug with the program. I send reports on a daily basis but nothing changes and now they're running a 10,000 point event just to waste everyone's time who actually thought they could EARN said points?

    MagnusVermandelson was the original poster btw. Again, there is no indication that their issue was solved and the last person with the same issue commented on May 13th. Thanks for ignoring the rampant issues with rewards, Microsoft!

    The thread you are referring to was an older thread that was bumped which is why it was locked. It's always best to create a new thread instead of bumping old ones.

    As far as Microsoft Rewards issues, you would have to contact their support via the contact link at the bottom of the Rewards site. No one from the Rewards program or Microsoft uses these forums.
