    Hello, this is Ahmed.

Sorry about what you are going through and you could try following up these steps to fix it.

The adaptor is not receiving power. Unplug the USB connector and then plug it in again. If there’s still no light, try plugging the adaptor into a USB port on the front of the console. If the adaptor works in the front USB port, see The wireless adaptor works in some USB ports, but not in others, below.

If it’s still not working, the adaptor might be experiencing a hardware failure and needs to be replaced.

I hope this fix the issue and let us know if the issue still persists.

Xbox 360 wireless adapter won’t light up.

Hi Mazda. my name is Joel, I'm here to help you with any problems or questions you may have.

I'm sorry for what's wrong with that adapter, but unfortunately trying it on different USB ports and getting the same result and not even turning on just means that that adapter has stopped working and will need to be replaced. Microsoft no longer markets this type of device since the Xbox 360 console model was discontinued many years ago.

Please note that this is only a public forum, I will respond to you in a short period of time within the possible apologizing in advance for any delay in response. I am simply a user trying to provide information and knowledge that may be useful to others, I am not an employee of Microsoft.

Xbox 360 s won't recognize internal wifi adapter?

    Adapter Hardware Checks

To actively fix adapter-recognition problems, check the adapter power light. If the Xbox 360 does not recognize that a wireless adapter even exists, make sure that the power light on the wireless adapter is lit up. If not, taking a close look at the connections
should do the trick. Disconnect and then reconnect the adapter cable, and make sure the USB connection is solid before continuing.

Restoring the Xbox 360 wireless network adapter factory defaults is another direct solution for the adapter hardware. Sometimes, new network settings will not be saved by the wireless adapter. If this happens, a restoration to factory default of the network
adapter hardware is necessary. First navigate to the "System" section in the Xbox 360 Dashboard, then click on the option "Restore Default Settings." After you do so, the light on the wireless adapter will fluctuate between red and green, and then stay on
red once the process is complete. Then fill in the new network settings and password and save them to finish the process.

    help

    HI DextrousUrvin8,

If you are receiving a solid red light on your wireless adapter, that means that it's not connected to an access point/wireless signal. At this time did you try to set up a wireless network connection through the Xbox?

Here is the support page with all the different light colors and what they mean. Of course it also despend on which adapter you have, the single antenna or the double antenna:

    XBox wireless problems

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with your Xbox 360 wireless adapter. A flashing green light indicates that the adapter is attempting to connect to a wireless network. When you try to connect to your wireless network, does the console prompt you to connect
an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter, or does it recognize the adapter but display no wireless networks in the list?
