That was a really long time ago, I'm sorry, but nothing as far as you having to buy another code can be done. The reason being is because it happened two years ago, so theres nothing Microsoft can do for you.

I'm having the same problem as E.J Paras but as i bought my minecraft account when you had to buy it from mojang it seems logical to me that there isnt any transiction in microsoft payments. I bought minecraft java edition but I can only play minecraft for windows now.

So , i have their same problem. Afyer migrating my mojang account to microsoft i cant find my bought minecraft anymore but i bought many years ago with my mojang account (java edition , i also have the email confirmation of the redemption of the gift card) . After contacting mojang they all lead me here to microsoft support

Absolutely the same problem, I spent a whole day trying to solve it, and already wrote to Mojang support, they did not help me, advising me to reinstall the client, and so on. After that, I was sent to microsoft support to solve this problem.
