Why cant my child play minecraft online?

I have gone to the Xbox settings and turned on the necessary settings, and the settings are the same for his brother who is able to play online, but for some reason the other one can't play online. Please help

I guess they are playing on the same console, right ?

If so the brother who can play online has to set his account to his home console if he has the game pass sub.

The other brothers account must not be set to home console ! After a restart it should work.

If the situation is different then please share more details.

PS: You'll find the home console settings under "system - console info"

nope I cant access the privacy setting online safety on the xbox. on the web, i dont see the child or adult for privacy. why is my account online status unknown on the xbox?

I'm at a month. A whole month I paid for to play with my friends online and I cant. Its like being a child again and being punished. And why be punished for races? Not like your leaving any teammates behind like a death match.

You have registered your "main account" as child account (under 18+ of age) this is why you are not able to play online and Mojang support suggested you to set up a different account

Unless your parental account gives permission your child account will not be able to play other realms in Minecraft
