Xbox series X doesn't let me sign in/log in

Hi! I've recently bought an xbox and everything went fine the first day; however, the next day, I tried signing in and it led me to a qr code. I scanned it, wrote the code on my phone and received an email with a second code to input, that made my xbox ask me for my password and to confirm it so I did. That's where the problem began: after confirming the second time it led me to the same window of "enter your password". No error, no typo, nothing.

I fixed it by rebooting the xbox completely and signing in from the start from my phone (since that worked the first time). Since then, I've been doing that until I can go get it checked for the log in issues.

My problem now is that I accidentally closed the window on my phone while signing in after rebooting it one of these times, leading the xbox to force me to do a manual sign in with my controller, which includes doing the whose thing with the qr (the same one I mentioned before) that does not work for me.

Honestly, I don't know what else to try and I just want this console to work.

Hopefully someone knows how I may fix it without asking for help in a store. Thank you in advance!

Please change your password before you try signing in to your Xbox.

Go to https://account.microsoft.com>;; Security> Change my password.

And then remove and re-add your account by going to Settings > Account > Remove Accounts and remove your account.

Next is to perform a power cycle. To do this, turn off your Xbox completely by holding the power button for 10 seconds.

Unplug the power cable, wait for 10–15 seconds, and plug it back in.

Turn the console back on and please sign in.

Make sure that you're entering the correct credentials for the sign in process to be successful.

Hello does your son have disk and a Xbox series x if yes did it let you install the game because it doesn't give me the option

Also, when I click "use another device" on my series X and put in the code it gives me on my phone that's logged into the same account it doesn't do anything...

Dont worry, found out that it was the xboxsx giving me a hard time. Found a fix and it worked.
