    Cloud gaming using US servers and not Australian


    Firstly all my billing and country info shows Australia. When I purchase games it shows in Australian dollars.

    When I connect to a cloud xbox game it uses a US server by default giving me a 200ms ping.

    Here's the kicker, I only get this using my new ISP Aussie BB. Previously I was with superloop and 40ms ping everytime.

    I'm at a loss, I suspect its my ISP flagging it to go to a US server but I thought server location was done according to MS account location?

    I'm in the US. Perhaps they are directing traffic to Australian oneguide servers?

    Host? It's dedicated servers in BF4 bruzzy, and Australians get better connection to US servers than to their own atm.

    Probably won't be of any use in a UXF server, I'll lag in Australian servers, I can't imagine trying to do the same in a US or European server. Still i'll give it a go.

    Speedtest is Inaccurate for speed testing, as it isn't a direct server connection & passes through Speedtest.net servers first.. You're Australian, use Optusnet Speedtest..

    The cloud is a 2010's name for "Dedicated Server". Yes thats all a cloud is is just a dedicated server for stuff. Gears of War 3 uses a dedicated server what people like to now call a cloud. So im sure the 360 version of titanfall will use the servers
    for hosting as well. However the X1 version will more in likely use the server for more things.
