my gamertag is not working in Minecraft

Hi,

have you recently changed your gamertag ?

If so it could take up to a week until it is changed in the whole system.

Sometimes it helps to delete the profile from the console, restart it and download your profile.

If that doesn't work you have to wait.

Thx. Will that work even if their Minecraft is on their Amazon tablets. I can’t seem to figure it out without them all having my username as their gamertag.

Oh, I though you performed a clean reinstall for minecraft
In this case dont press restore/reset for Minecraft launcher to avoid losing worlds

Please try this :
Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then do this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore/reset

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app and Minecraft launcher > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore/reset, open the app and try again.

Finally do this :

Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.

Step 3: Then a command prompt window will appear. After a few seconds, Windows Store will open.
