    Help to troubleshoot error message on crash


    Hi all, I'm hoping someone may be able to help me (Google has no answers).

    I recently updated the version of Fabric on my Conquest Reforged server from 15.7 to 15.11 to accommodate a new mod (Mythrais), so far so good. However, when I launch the game and try and place / break a block, the game crashes with the following error:



    Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: ByteArray with size 7 is bigger than allowed 2

    I've ensured that all the mods on both server and client are the same versions.

    Other players on the server can play without issue - and on Single player, I can also play without the crash occurring (can use the mod's blocks). This seems to suggest a client-server issue.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    Can you provide some details on what's happening that is not letting you play? Does the game crash, does it give an error message, or is it not launching? We're happy to help troubleshoot, but we'd need a bit more information around what's happening
    to be able to assist. If you could give us an error message, something that's changed between being able to play and not, what's happening when you try?

    What exactly is your Xbox console model? Does the issue happen to your other games as well? Are there any error messages when it crashes?

    Sorry to hear that, have you tried any troubleshooting? I would first suggest you try a Power cycle /reset
     of the console.

    Are you seeing any error messages or codes when it crashes?
