I understand that you are experiencing issues with the Xbox App.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please repair or reset the Xbox App by going to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.

Find the Xbox app, click on it, and select Advanced Options.

Choose Repair first. If that doesn't work, try Reset.

And then reinstall gaming services. Open PowerShell as an administrator.

Run the following commands:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

This will uninstall and reinstall the Gaming Services, which are essential for the Xbox app.

Next is to check for Windows updates. To do this, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and ensure your system is fully updated.

Then uninstall the Xbox app completely. Reinstall it from the Microsoft Store.

After that is to check Xbox Services. Open the Services app (search for it in the Start menu). Please make sure that the following services are running and set to Automatic:

Xbox Live Auth Manager

Xbox Live Game Save

Xbox Live Networking Service

If you're using a VPN or third-party firewall, kindly disable them temporarily to see if they are causing the issue.

i cannot play games, i cannot play multiplayer, i cant login easily to xbox, i cant see friends i cannot join games, i cant join parties. opt me out and fix this before i decide ps4 would be a better console.

Even though my NAT is open. And every other thing that could possibly hinder me or a friend from playing together has been checked.. We still cannot join each others' parties or play games together. But what makes it even more weird is that sometimes I have
no problem whatsoever in joining his game or party. So what's the deal? Xbox keeps saying it's my isp when I know for a fact that it isnt.

I know that I am testing the dashboard updates for Xbox One, I just hope these items are going to be updated with it.

I am currently in able to enter and join parties. Also cannot accept invites.

Party and games

I cannot play with my friends currently and or communicate with them through the party system. Playing with my friends is the MAIN reason I got a Xbox One. And when it is updated I hope if one of us is playing a game( i see that the option is there) that
we can send a invite and join that particular game and or lobby that our party/ friend is in.
