How can I log into my old xbox account on my new PC when the Xbox app keeps automatically...

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please sign out of all accounts by opening the Xbox app, Microsoft Store, and Windows Settings, and sign out of all accounts. This will ensure no account is automatically logged in.

And then reinstall gaming services. To do this, open PowerShell as an administrator and run the following commands:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

This will reinstall the Gaming Services app, which will help resolve account-related issues.

After that is to uninstall the Xbox app, restart your PC, and reinstall it from the Microsoft Store. This can reset the app's login process

Ok, tell me if I'm getting this right... When I first setup my computer, I used my main email account, then when I tried to log in on the xbox it automatically logged me in with that Xbox account. The thing is, my main Xbox account I use is under a different
email. Since there's apparently no way to just log out of the xbox app, you're saying I have to create a whole new user for my PC, just so I can use my main Xbox account on the app?

So whenever I log onto Minecraft with my Microsoft account it logs me into Xbox/Microsoft related apps with that account, that’s just a bug? I hope they resolve it or change it in some way so I can login to a different account on Xbox then a different account on Minecraft without having to keep signing in and stuff. Also how do I reinstall the old Minecraft launcher or find it on my pc, I deleted it after installing the new one

Thanks for your reply.

We appreciate you mentioned the Windows version you are using as the reference we provided is from Windows 10. In that case, may we ask if you can try to update your Xbox app and please include other services Xbox app will need to run on the background.

Here is the troubleshooting we suggest you perform:

1. On your PC Settings > Accounts > Your Info > please select verify for verification of your account.
   
2. Install PC updates including Optional Update. Guide - Update Windows
   
   • If you have issues with update, please check the troubleshooting steps available here - Troubleshoot problems updating Windows.
     
3. Please do the update of drivers, guide - update drivers in Windows.
   
4. Note: Please make sure you know your credentials before proceeding to the next steps. If in doubt, try to manually sign in here: Microsoft Account | Home.
   
   • Log out from Xbox app and Microsoft Store. Make sure there is no account remain logged into those apps.
     
   • Update or Install Xbox Identity Provider
     
   • Reset/Repair Microsoft Store and Xbox app. Guide - Repair apps and programs in Windows.
     
   • Clear the store cache by typing “wsreset” in the Windows search bar. Run this as admin and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.
     
   • Try reinstalling the Gaming Services package on your Windows 10 device:
     
     1. Right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
        
     2. In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:
        
     3. Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers
        
     4. Wait for the process to finish.
        
5. Restart and disable all antivirus, antimalware, VPN, proxy, firewall and PC Optimizer.
