    My xbox 1 won't turn on


    Recently I decided to plug in another xbox to my tv. Then after awhile, I replugged in my original xbox1. Then when I pushed the xbox button, it would not turn on. The cords are in contact and I made sure it was secure, but nothing seems to work

    I understand that you are experiencing issues turning on your Xbox one.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please make sure that the power supply is securely connected to both the Xbox and the wall outlet.

    Check the light on the power supply. If it's orange or white, the power supply is working. If there's no light, it needs replacement.

    And then unplug the power cord from the Xbox and the wall outlet.

    Wait for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and press the Xbox button.

    If incase it won't work, kindly try a different outlet to rule out issues with the current one.

    Next is to inspect the HDMI cable connection. If the Xbox light turns on briefly but shuts off, it isn't not be detecting a display. Kindly check the HDMI cable and port on your TV. If you have a different HDMI cable to use, try it and see if it works.

    Hi,

    Sorry about that issue, but it sound like an hardware issue, if you already tried the troubleshooting, the last thing to try is another power supply ( if a friend has one… ) cause 90% of the case its an issue with the power supply not the console.
