Will factory resetting fix my issue

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues with your Xbox where your games are crashing. I understand that you also performed power cycle.

Can you please confirm if you unplugged your console for at least one minute? If yes, in most cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything.

Reminder: Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not uploaded to the Xbox network will be lost. Your console syncs when it’s connected to the Xbox network, but if you've been offline for a while, connect to the network before taking these steps.

To reset using your console settings:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, select Reset and remove everything.

This option resets the console to factory settings. All user data, including accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all installed content will be deleted. Use this option when selling or gifting the console, or as a last resort in some troubleshooting cases.

Hi,

you should also check the area where the console stands. Not only cause of overheating but also if there is a strong electromagnetic source like for example big sound boxes.

But at least it very much sounds like the data on your Hdd is corrupted. Means there is a good chance that a full reset might help you. But as said check the area or it might happen again.

Recently just did a factory reset on my xbox it fixed a issue I was having but did not fix my current issues
