Elite 2 Right trigger totally unresponsive

I understand that you are experiencing issues with your Elite 2 Right trigger not working.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please test in Xbox accessories app by connecting your controller to your Xbox or PC and open the Xbox Accessories app. Use the app to test the functionality of the right trigger. If it doesn't respond, the issue might be hardware-related.

And then update firmware. Make sure that your controller's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates in the Xbox Accessories app.

Next is to reset controller settings. Do this in the Xbox Accessories app, reset the controller's settings to default. This can help resolve any configuration issues.

Or triggers... if you're a trigger happy gamer. One of my older controllers makes a bit of a noise when pulling in the right trigger and the LB is a bit unresponsive, but I think that was because of a few drops out of my hands or falls off the desk.

That seems totally strange to me. It can't be an analogue digital hing as it allows you to map, say, the right trigger, to a button.

Well you can't re-map the triggers on the Standard or Elite Series 1 controller, but you can with the Elite Series 2. It does seem like an analog/digital thing. I hope its not to hard to add the stick direction re-mapping function to the Series 2.

I cannot figure this out. There is no way of contacting an actual person with Microsoft and whenever I try filling anything out with the serial number, nothing works. It won't even let me submit anything to get it fixed. Definitely never buying a controller
this expensive again. Clearly bad quality products. Surprised my Xbox one x still works honestly.
