how do i gain access to my Xbox and Windows 10 devices Online Safety settings

I already changed my date of birth to the correct date so my account can be counted as an adult but its still grayed out. i've also used a second account to create a family then invited my main as an organizer but it didnt work.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

You have mentioned that you have already linked an organizer to your account.

That is good because you can use the organizer in customizing your Privacy and Security settings.

To do that, please sign in the organizer account here: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/user/settings/privac...

On the page, choose the child account. And then customize it.

Once done, click on Submit for the changes to take effect.

changing online safety or privacy settings on Xbox One" contains information on how to change the privacy & online safety settings through a browser. This also applies for Windows 10. Once you access the settings, you will see an option that states, "Xbox
One/Windows 10..." Be sure to let us know the results!

Thanks, Timmy try accessing to privacy settings for your Microsoft account and allow everything, do the same on Online safety for Xbox 360, and Xbox Series X/S One and Windows 10 Online safety:

Online play is free on Windows for almost every game; you do not need to pay to access multiplayer on PC, unless the developer charges their own fee for accessing online.

Please check your Xbox profile privacy settings: https://account.xbox.com/Settings

Go to the "Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety" and make sure "Join multiplayer games" and "You can play with players outside of Xbox Live" are set to allow.

There is no “privacy & online safety” tab only “family & online safety” and when you click on that you still don’t get an option of a xbox One/windows 10 online safety tab, and I dont see how such a tab would even be useful considering this issue is on
neither an xbox one or windows 10 device, its on an ipad
