Deep rock galactic screen is black when i start the game

The screen gets dark when i start the game but audio is still working the game says The UE4-FSD Game has crashed and will close. Fatal error!

Hey Joaquin, sorry you're dealing with this problem launching the game.

Were you able to launch the game without a problem before?

Make sure you have all the updates for the game and launcher installed. Also, download and install any updates that are available for your GPU drivers.

You can also try running the game as administrator. If you can, try to disable full screen mode before starting the game.

On your hard drive, there is a folder called ''WpSystem'', take ownership of the folder and rename it to ''WpSystem.old'', save and try downloading the game again.

If the problem persists, follow this path, delete everything from the folder, restart your PC and try downloading the game again.

I doubt it is an IP problem because my other xbox games are working. Deep Rock Galactic, Dead Cells, Crusader Kings 3, all three start just fine. It's just this one game that's borked.

i got it to work by opening the game using this filepath

C:\XboxGames\Deep Rock Galactic\Content\FSD\Binaries\WinGDK
