    Borderlands 2 crashing every time I open the xbox menu?


    Myself and a friend are playing borderlands 2, from the handsome collection. We're both on xbox series x, and 2 different consoles. Every time I open the xbox menu whilst we're in the same game, it crashes their game, causing the xbox to make a strange sound and then the game closes. The xbox party we're in is unaffected. My friend's disc is fine, the xbox is fine as they were playing for hours on different games without issues, and they've power cycled it a few times. Any suggestions? I've only been able to find one person suggesting this in a year old reddit threat where someone asked a similar question. Cheers.

    Oh I understand what you mean. However I never let 2 apps open at the same time. When i open a game i close apps that were open previously through the start menu.

    My connection crashes either way even if I haven't opened the youtube app that session.

    Did you purchase them ouside Borderlands 2 Menu? You purchased them via Microsoft Marketplace? If so go to Gearbox forums. I heard theres an issue on XBOX marketplace purchases compared to ingame Borderlands 2 DLC marketplace. I think gearbox can fix that
    problem for you. Gearbox is suggesting to avoid the marketplace and purchase the contents via the ingame Borderlands 2 DLC menu.
