Xbox One S struggling to decode videos that play at 60fps

With regards to 8K, that's for video. Honestly, with a modern CPU and GPU 8K video isn't too hard to do. My PC can do 8K 60fps video streams on YouTube effortlessly. It's nice marketing jargon for the none technical minded console only gamers to get
in a tizzy about. H.265 video decoding is built in to modern GPU's. The new consoles won't have problems playing 8K video.

It won't be 8K gaming that's for sure, modern high end gaming PC struggle with 4K still.

series s will struggle on demanding games to keep 60fps at 1080p. the series x will struggle to keep 60fps at 4k thats for sure. the series x will be ok at 120fps at 1080 and most likely 1440.

it will connect at 120hz but i think most games will target 60fps 1440 as the xbox one struggled to get 40fps in some games and xbox one x struggled to maintain 60fps most of the time.

the fact the word one is missing clearly shows the difference.

and you bought a one s to play fs2020 when even powerful pc's struggle even the most powerful gpu on the market can only play the game at around 60fps on ultra, the xbox series x can only do just 30fps at mostly medium to high settings.

the one s would probably hit 30fps at a res of 72p.

For whatever reason some developers are struggling to hit the 1080p 60FPS mark. Give the developers time and we will see games on the Xbox One hit that mark.
