Why my Xbox don't work for network WiFi and I have only RV and in Neighborhood?

If all of the WiFi networks in your neighborhood use wireless security, you can't access them without their passwords.

I have a few friends in my neighborhood that have wifi but they are all out of town for the holidays.

If your Xbox sees other networks in your neighborhood then

your wireless NIC should be OK.

I am guessing you are taking about your 360S. If you are,

what do you get when you go to “Settings”>”Network”

I have the Xbox 360 with internal WiFi. Streaming used to work fine a few months ago. I have a couple of theories.

1. There was an Xbox 360 software update a few months ago, then streaming became poor. I don't remember the software version that streaming worked on, but it was about 6 months ago that the update happened.

2. I may have some neighbors move in nearby recently who have WiFi routers, PCs, smartphones, etc., so there might be more interference in my neighborhood, which is affecting streaming.

Only thing I don't understand is that the WiFi network isn't affected. I reset to defaults and still the Wired connection isn't working for this xbox. I switched over to my other xbox that doesn't have the new dashboard and it connected just fine with
the ethernet cable.
