My PC won't connect to any game servers despite being connected to the internet.

Thanks for keeping us updated. This is an issue with connecting to their server. It is either caused by the server itself being down, or your internet service/connection. You can test your internet connection on your PC. Also try rebooting your network hardware.

This game is really fun but every time I try to play this game I have server connection problems with the EA servers. I play at my office after hours and the problem is definitely not my internet connection (we host internet servers and have a super-solid
1GBps internet connection). I have not been able to play through a complete game yet without screen stuttering or being suddenly disconnected. Has anyone tried returning this game for a refund?

Port forwarding and changing anything to do with your NAT won't have any effect with this issue. Opening ports does not make your connection faster.

The Call of Duty games don't have any dedicated servers. The system uses a Client/Server system where Xbox LIVE will choose a player to host a particular game. Either you are being linked up with players that are really far away from you, or there is something
wrong with your Internet connection or router. If your connection is wireless how far away is your console from the router?

Apparently everybody is playing offline. That's why they complained so much. This despite being able to connect to the internet to complain about having to connect to the internet.

Did you manage to fix the connectivity issue? My Series X constantly drops connection to xbox live/internet despite an ethernet cable being used.
