    Microsoft and email compromised


    Good evening, my email account was compromised when I was hacked by a remote access trojan(RAT), and as a result, ive lost my microsoft account. This has many products and thousands of hours on games that I own on that account, and so far, I've filled out the microsoft account recovery form a few times with zero answer on my gmail. They said that they'll get back to you in around 24hrs but its been a week since I first submitted something through the form and I havent even heard anything from microsoft back yet? can someone please advise as to why I may im not hearing anything on their side when trying to recover my account from them?

    Hi there,

    this is something only Xbox Support is able to fix, if you can't access your account when it was 'stolen' you need to contact Xbox Support like mentioned here:
    www.xbox.com/.../What-To-Do

    They will investigate and lock the account, but eventually the should be able to return you access to the account.

    Just be aware that it may take some time (days/weeks)

    Microsoft has suspended my account. I know that my email has been compromised because of the hacker changed my security settings and i cannot do anything, when i go cover my account it says that my account/email dosent exist and i cannot recover it because

    Unless you had someone login to your account then changing your email password would be the only thing you need to do. Did they access your XBOX account? Also would be a very good idea to change your XBOX live password and add the security proofs to your
    account. I have mine set to text me a code in the event someone would ever request a password change to my xbox account.
