my controller doesn't work. what do i do?

When I plug in my PS4 controller it lights up blue like it should, it doesn't get detected as an audio device like it used to, but when I try to use it in games it doesn't work like it should. For example, on one of the games it gets detected as the mouse and in some others it doesn't do anything at all.

Are you using it on a PC?

Windows does not have native support for PS4 controllers, you will need to use third-party software that emulates the controller, such as DS4Win.

MY CONTROLLER WON’T CONNECT TO MY CONSOLE OR PC -> it doesn't apply. the controller does connect to my pc

I CAN’T UPDATE MY CONTROLLER -> it doesn't apply. Xbox Accessories says it is up to date

MY CONTROLLER DOESN’T FUNCTION CORRECTLY -> somehow it doesn't. let's take this option

MY CONTROLLER WON’T POWER ON -> it doesn't apply. the controller does power on

SOME OR ALL OF THE BUTTONS ON MY CONTROLLER DON’T WORK AT ALL -> it doesn't apply. All buttons do work correctly

Open the site by a browser on the PC, perform it step by step calmly.
