My xbox services wont start

My XBox wont start. It keeps messaging XBox needs service and the lights flash red, green, red, green, red green. what can I do?

I just bought an xbox today, and went to set up live, but it keeps telling me that my Microsoft account is associated with another account and wont let me get that started. Talk about a bad way to start off service....

Step 1 ----Select Xbox One

Step 2 ----Select See other options

Step 3 ----Select topic (Ex. System Update)

Yellow light on the power brick tends to mean a bad power brick.

You can try unplugging it completely for at least 30 seconds to reset it and plugging it back in. If it stays yellow its a bad power brick.

Do you either have another brick from an Xbox One or a friend willing to loan you one to make sure its just the brick?
