Hello I am trying to recover my account that I had previously made last year

Hello again, you had to restore the console but saving your games and data as I mentioned before, now to recover all your progress you must contact support unless you have previously made a backup copy of your account.

EDIT: This is not the account I am trying to recover. I am trying to recover "KuChIIky". Also I might add that i no longer own an Xbox but am using my friends while he is away and had my account on a memory stick 256MB that is plugged into his box.

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately I have also tried this method but like I said instead of recovering the account I need I recovered an alternate account I made years ago. I feel like the email and associated gamertag/account is lost because all info I have reverts to me to this old account and not the one I've been using for the last several years.

Hello YummyCanadian! The problem you might be encountering is last year or the year before Microsoft reset tons of unused and banned gamertags. I'm wondering if your gamertag was reset in that program. i had an old gamertag from when i had my Original xbox
that i was never able to recover, but when the tags were reset i was able to create a new account with that same gamertag because it was reset. Try and create a new account on your console. You will be able to change the gamertag once free of charge, see if
the gamertag you had was reset.

It seems as if my account was deleted, along with a couple of applications that were attached to it. I am wondering if it is possible to recover it, because I spent some money on it and would not like it to go to waste, I checked an application that I had, and it forced me to create another account using the email address that I already had an account with, along with not having a record of any purchases that I made. If there is no way that I can recover my account, is there a way that I can get a refund? I can provide proof that I had an account, and the purchases that I made on it.
