    Why isn't there a reliable method of speaking to a person to resolve system issues?


    Why isn't there a reliable method of speaking to a person to resolve system issues? Every time I try to use the "contact us" feature on the support page I get told that webchat and phone calls are unavailable for this issue regardless of how I fill out the description of the problem. After which, I get pushed into the ai chat that talks in circles and insists on me filling out a description of the problem again on repeat. Why isn't there a listed phone number or email address to bypass this? It quickly becomes repetitive and does nothing to help solve the problems. Even when I try to request a call it says that option is unavailable.

    Hi Mister Getafix, I won't speak for Vondubs but in my case none of the steps in your troubleshooting method have resolved this issue. The only thing I managed to get back after speaking with XBL customer support was a refund on
    my Gold subscription.

    Hey Cloud, I personally find the USB method to be much more reliable. Can you try using a USB drive that's formatted properly, to see if that allows you to update?

    im glad a system update resolved the issue for you, however (and i can only speak for myself) if a person having this issue IS NOT part of the insider program then your information is irrelevant.

    That is, unless you can get confirmation from Microsoft that your recent system update did contain this fix (i.e. release notes) and the expected release date when this (or later) system update is rolled out to the “general population”.

    I personally am Hapy with the Xbox live format as feel like im paying for the reliability and security of the system, however i wish i knew more about how that side of xbox works as well as the report/griefing issues system.
