Updated my console recently and my USB keyboard no longer works with my console.

^^Verified... this is how I got my wireless KB to work on my XB1.

i’m using a snpurdiri 60% keyboard with a usb to usb C cable, i’m trying to play dayz with it, it was working on the game previously and just stopped working on my xbox all together and my console is up to date

While I haven't tried wireless yet, the console does work with wired USB keyboards. (Not mice) - To have it work, you must start the console with the keyboard plugged in already (from powered off, not on standby). This will allow it to work with your keyboard.
I'll try to test out a wireless keyboard tonight and update this with the result.

The keyboard itself plugs into my controller and the usb, I have plugged into the usb port on the front of my xbox series x. When using the keyboard, the keyboard works but the mic stops working.

Okay, I suppose it really is the solution to all of the console's problems, because it worked. I'm using the IE app and my USB keyboard on the Xbox One to type this message.
