    Hi everybody,

    I have recently did an upgrade form windows10 to 11, with the new pc. In there I had Minecraft Launcher with my account bgought in the far 2017 (Mojang account) and after formatting all of my disks now I can't login with my account.

    I had to choose a new nickname and skin in not mine anymore. Do you have any suggestion in the matter?

    Minecraft Migration - loss of bedrock edition?

    That’s odd because if this is the Minecraft for Windows it will be purchased through Microsoft Store. The Minecraft that can be purchased through Mojang is Minecraft Java Edition.

    Kindly make sure that you’re signed in under the account where the Mojang account was migrated. Please try other Microsoft accounts as well.

    I already wrote to Mojang support and this is what they answered me:

    As of September 19, 2023, Minecraft Support is no longer able to assist with Mojang/Minecraft log in or other account related issues as account migration has ended. If you have migrated your Mojang/Minecraft account to a Microsoft account and need assistance, please contact Microsoft Support.

    I have a receipt for Mojang Studios' order for Minecraft Java. Do I have to log on to a Mojang account or does my Microsoft Account suffice?

    If you do not have a purchase proof, there is no way to get Minecraft back. I say this because since you purchased it using a Mojang account, Mojang is responsible for your game license. And since you cannot prove you own the game, Mojang will not give you the game license back. I'm really sorry about this.

    And if you can sign in to the Minecraft website with your old Mojang account, the account has not been migrated.
