can't install any app on windows

I understand that you are experiencing issues installing Xbox App on Windows.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please enable Windows Update service. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

Locate Windows Update in the list, double-click it, and set the Startup type to Automatic.

Click Start if the service is not running, then click Apply and OK.

And then reset the Microsoft Store cache. To do this press Win + R, type wsreset, and press Enter. This will clear the Microsoft Store cache.

Next is to re-register Microsoft Store by opening PowerShell as an administrator and run the following command:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Then run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional Troubleshooters.

Select Windows Store Apps and run the troubleshooter.

Kindly check for Windows Updates. Kindly go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates. Install any pending updates.

Disable Proxy Settings. To do this, open Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy and ensure that Use a proxy server is turned off.

I have restarted, restarted modem, flushed dns, signed in and out etc, also tried task manager fix. tried looking in windows store for updates, as per recommendation from another website. No luck. The mobile app can't install games, my other computer
can't install games, the windows store can't install games, and the xbox beta app can't install games. This is seriously broken and I haven't seen any effort from Microsoft to fix it

You can try downloading these games from the Microsoft Store app. Simply search the game title – make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft Store app with your Microsoft account that owns Game Pass – and download it there.

Windows 10 is on the latest build and the problem is that I can't install the app so I can't access the settings.
