Xbox App Crashes After Update + Xbox Game Bar Issues

To fix your Xbox App, please repair the Xbox App by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.

Find the Xbox app, click on it, and select Advanced Options.

Choose Repair.

And then reinstall gaming services. To do this please open PowerShell as an administrator and run the following commands:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-appxpackage -allusers

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Restart your PC and reinstall the Gaming Services app.

Make sure that your Windows operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

To fix your gamebar, kindly reinstall Xbox Game Bar by opening PowerShell as an administrator and run:

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay* | remove-appxpackage

Reinstall the Xbox Game Bar from the Microsoft Store.

Update the Xbox Game Bar and Gaming Services apps via the Microsoft Store.

Next is to reset Game Bar settings. Go to Settings > Gaming > Xbox Game Bar and reset its settings.

Kindly enable necessary services. Open the Services app and ensure the following services are running and set to Automatic:

Xbox Live Auth Manager

Xbox Live Networking Service

Gaming Services

Then run the troubleshooter. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional Troubleshooters.

Select Windows Store Apps and run the troubleshooter.

I recently had an issue with a Microsoft/Xbox game crashing before loading into the game after a windows update. After reinstalling the game, uninstalling windows updates...it turned out to be that my date & time was not set to update automatically. Manual date=microsoft apps broken apparently.

As of the restart the Xbox App seems to be loading forever on the "Launching the Xbox App" screen and the Sign in white screen continues on the Game Bar even after resetting the MS store and resigning in to it.

Meaning that as of right now the only temporary fix is to reset Both the Xbox App and Game Bar everytime it first opens after it crashes (as it often does) or when I restart the computer. Which is quite a hassle because it resets the layout of the widgets and all the sound settings I change within it

I also am experiencing this issue after purchasing the Halo Elite Series 2 controller, unable to use it in bluetooth as the A button toggles the xbox game bar and there isn't a prompt to update the firmware on xbox accessories app.

Although it started after recent Xbox and Game Bar app updates there is no known fix on PC, sometimes it will randomly start working but then stops again, probably a cloud issue.
