If someone has downloaded the game without the use of the original disc then said person would be guilty of piracy and marketplace theft and could be subject to having not only their account banned but also their console as well.

Yeah it's weird that... When I bought my xbox 360 no one told I had to but games for it I mean why isn't everything free?

it's Minecraft "xbox 360 edition" of course you will have to pay for it how often do you get free stuff on xbox? Although 1600 MS points seems steep I think it worth it.
