Can't log in to account on xbox

Hi Louis, sorry you're having troubles logging into your account on Xbox!

Do you see any error message when you try to login?

Try clearing the Xbox cache:

1. Power off your Xbox completely.

2. Unplug the power cable from the console.

3. Wait at least 1 minute.

4. Plug the power cable back in.

5. Turn on the Xbox.

You can also try to remove the account from the Xbox, and then re-add it.

Hey XBF Leo G, issue resolved. Performed the soft reboot and everything is back. This stuff is always beyond my knowledge so all your help is truly appreciated.

Thanks for the speedy reply. And that is something I've had to do recently. It worked the first time but not this time. I was able to remove the profile, but when I try to add it again it allows me to enter my email, then when I enter the password the screen
just goes blank and stays that way. I've done a hard reboot on both xbox one and my router with no change.

I've beem connected to the internet for 2 weeks and so far have had to get my account unlocked 3 times, reset my password 2 times, removed the account and added it back successfully once and now unsuccessfully. The code I kept seeing was the 0x801901f4.
Xbox assist didn't find a match to it, and I was unable to find any info anywhere else.

Any other ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I plan on calling Microsoft for assistance soon. If that nets better results I will reply here with what I find out. Thanks.

U can also try settings/network/network/advanced settings/ alternative mac address/clear

Thank you for reaching out. I see you have tried some basic troubleshooting already. If you haven't done so, I want you to try

removing your account, and re-adding it by doing the following:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > Account
   > Remove accounts.
3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.
   
4. When you're finished, select Close

Make sure you have your email and password as you will be asked to sign back in. Let us know how it goes!
