    Why Does My State Of Decay 2 Say Session When I'm Trying To Host?


    For the last week or so my State of Decay keeps saying session error when I'm trying to host a game to invite my friends and it's the same issue when I'm trying to join them. Does anyone have a solution or a possible explanation of why it's doing this?

    How many person do you have in your community(or how many person do you have in state of decay 2)

    My guest is you need more person for multiplayer.

    We are all playing on PC. It was fine about a week ago. We have tried connecting to each others' communities and it does the same thing. We have both tried clean installs and that did not work

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We'd be happy to help.

    Are you playing on the Xbox One? Or is someone on PC playing cross platform?

    If other multiplayer games work then the servers may be going through some maintenance.

    If you are playing on an Xbox One console, have you tested your network to make sure your NAT is OPEN and all services are available? On PC it should be the same on the Xbox app.

    What troubleshooting have you done?

    Let us know that information and we can figure out how we can solve this issue if possible.
