Xbox Series X|S will not start

    Xbox Series X|S will not start


    For the second time in about a year, I have to send my xbox in to get repaired.

    Both times, my console randomly shut off after a short amount of time being on (>20 minutes). Following this, it kept shutting off a few minutes after being booted up. Then, after trying all trouble shooting, the light comes on and then turns off right away. I do not get any HDMI output, nor does the console stay on/ power up.

    I had the same issue with the same console about a year ago, and I am wondering why Xbox never told me what the issue was after the first time? I do not do anything to harm the xbox or increase risk for overheating, so I am curious if this is random or if I am doing something. Given that this is the second time I am having to send it in, I really hope that they do a comprehensive review to make sure it's not an issue with something else.

    No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

    The "One" and "Series" are the console types.

    Because on my Xbox series x, it only shows 'Optimized for series x/s' but if a xbox series x version of a game is NOT 'optimized' how would i know if I'm playing a series x/s version of a game?
