    Xbox one wireless connection issues

I got an Xbox one digital yesterday and it keeps kicking every device off my wifi. It won’t connect it only boots every other device off. I’ve tried factory resetting it and unplugging my wifi but the same thing happens.

I’m right next to my router and nothing other than a wall is blocking me from it

    :)

    Hi Raph514x1,

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue in connecting your Xbox One S to your wireless internet. If your Xbox One console is able to see your wireless network, but you’re unable to connect to your network or to Xbox Live, I
recommend using the Xbox One Network Connection Error Solution for help in getting connected correctly.

If your Xbox One is unable to recognize your wireless network (or any wireless network) in order to connect, then I would further recommend using our Xbox
    One Wireless Network Connection Solution
    to help resolve this issue.

Give these solutions a try and let us know the results.

I hope that this helps out!

2 Xbox1 controllers wont work, need help.

    Hello Hax0R246,

"am I being stupid".... No, everyone has trouble from time to time. But, let me suggest following up with a couple of things, "Connect a wireless
Xbox One controller to your console
" and "Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect" . Let us know if you continue to have
issues connecting the controller to your Xbox.

    Xbox One wireless connectivity issues

    Hey CarmenNutch,

Sorry to hear you are having wireless connectivity issues. Let's check on this together so you will get back to gaming. Was there any type of change to your set up before this started happening? (ie New router, moved, etc.)

There might be something blocking your console from actually going online.

Your NAT type determines whether you can successfully use multiplayer gaming or party chat. The table below illustrates the differences between the NAT types and, based on your NAT type, who you can play multiplayer games with and hear in a party chat.

Open NAT: You're able to play and host multiplayer games with people who have any NAT type on their network.

Moderate NAT: You might not be able to play multiplayer games with some people, and normally you won't be chosen as the host of a match.

Strict NAT: You're only able to play multiplayer games with people who have an OPEN NAT type. You can't be chosen as the host of a match.

Unavailable NAT: If NAT is unavailable, you’ll be unable to use party chat or connect to multiplayer games for some Xbox titles.

To fix this problem, we’ll first want to check your current NAT type. To do this:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
    3. Under Current Network Status, the NAT Type field displays your current NAT type.
You need your NAT type to be Open to resolve this issue. You also want to be sure there are no errors such as Double NAT detected or UPnP not successful displayed.

As you troubleshoot NAT, it’s important that you follow the recommended steps in the order given. Do not skip a step or move on to the next step until you have completed the current one. Each time you complete a step, you can recheck your NAT type by selecting Test NAT type on the Network screen.

Please follow the NAT troubleshooting steps given here: Troubleshoot NAT errors and multiplayer game issues | Xbox Support

If your console can’t see your wireless network, first check to see if the console is detecting any wireless networks at all:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
    3. Select Set up wireless network.
    4. Any detected wireless networks will be listed under Which one’s yours?
If your console detects other wireless networks but not yours, see:

    Troubleshoot a wireless network connection

If your console doesn’t detect any wireless networks at all, continue with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

    1. Restart your console: Press and hold the Xbox button > Restart console > Restart. After the console restarts, return to the Network settings screen and select Set up wireless network to see what wireless networks your console detects. If your console still does not detect any wireless network at all:
    2. To determine whether the problem might be with your wireless network, see if any other wireless-enabled devices (computers, phones, TVs, other gaming consoles) can see your wireless network.
      • If no other devices can detect your wireless network, the problem is with your networking hardware. See: Troubleshoot a wireless network connection
      • If other devices can see your wireless network but your Xbox console can’t, there may be something wrong with the internal wireless adapter, and your console may need to be repaired. If your console needs service, submitting an online repair request is the fastest and least expensive way to get your console repaired: Device service and repair
