Game Pass Ultimate not activating after renewal

My game pass ultimate subscription is still active and it's going to renew until January 30th, i'm also signed in the profile with the game pass membership

Hello again, are you trying to renew your Ultimate Game Pass, but do you have any active subscriptions to your account, or is it out of active subscriptions?

We had an active Gold subscription and my son tried the Game pass for a month and then cancelled it but now we don't have anything and we are only 5 months into our year of Gold. Why do we not have anything now?

By activating the Game Pass Ultimate subscription (the trial version) it converts your Gold subscription to Game Pass Ultimate completely (replaces) so when you cancel the Game Pass Ultimate service renewal, you are canceling the service completely. This
is something that the service detects and advises when activating the Game Pass Ultimate subscription trial.

If you get the Game Pass Ultimate by a gift card (e.g) and when activating it you enable renew you gamepass by your credit card, you also gain additional month of your pass.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, When you subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate do you know if you already had an active Xbox Live subscription? If you had an active subscription then the time you had remaining there would have converted to
Xbox Game Pass time giving you extra time, it looks like you may have had 3 months of Gold remaining and this converted to 3 extra months of Game pass Ultimate.

You should still be able to turn off the auto renewal for Game Pass Ultimate and once March comes the subscription will be cancelled and not renewed.
