Hello my Xbox elite series 2 controller is having issues with button registering

I have the exact same issue in rocket league with the elite series 2 controller. I had to spend a while in training to figure out what was going on. Like you stated, it's only certain angles on the "A" button where it doesn't register. Once I find that
angle, I can press the button as many times as I want and it will not register. It's not your hardware. It's definitely the controller.

I was going to return mine for a replacement through their warranty program but it sounds like it might be a broader problem with all of their elite controllers. I can use my normal Xbox one controller (yeah, the $40 one) and not have any issues. I know
it's not my hardware.

I exchanged mine twice because the A button was sticking. On my current one the A button does not work that good but better than the last two. It either doesn't register or registers twice, especially when typing with the virtual keyboard when sending a
message.

I really love the Elite Series 2 Controller and hope they fix the A button problem. It is still my controller of choice.

I tried to fill out repair order, but, as mentioned above, those are the only options i got.

Bumper IS a known issue, as you can see.

Btw., it doenst matter what caused 2 years warranty, it is in place and i'm in the right to use it.

Good evening, I have the same issue as well. I have an xbox elite series 2 controller and stealth 700s wireless turtle beaches synced to my console

have you tried hitting the sync button on your console? My console doesnt register the sync button is pushed down or anything but I realized it's because of the charging cords connected to my console so its registering as wired. But before that fix I use
to hard reset my console to resync everything I dont understand why I'm having such an issue but I have figured out a way to fix it.
