Game Pass Ultimate subscription not recognized on console

Hello everyone,

I'm encountering an issue with my Xbox console not recognizing my Game Pass Ultimate subscription. I recently renewed the subscription, and while it shows as active on my Microsoft account online, the console itself isn't reflecting this change. As a result, I'm unable to access the Game Pass library or any of the benefits associated with my membership.

I've tried restarting the console and even signing out and back into my account, but the problem persists. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Is there a troubleshooting step I might be missing, or should I be contacting customer support directly?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I understand that you are experiencing issue with your subscription not recognized as active.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please clear alternate MAC address.To do this go to Settings > General > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address and select Clear. Restart your console afterward.

And then check for system updates. Kindly ensure that your Xbox console is running the latest system update. Go to Settings > System > Updates and check for any pending updates.

If the Xbox is up to date, please launch a game and see if your subscription is working.

Thanks for coming to the forums. When you have an active Ultimate game pass subscription, any code redeemed converts to Ultimate subscription. In this case 12 months of Xbox live gold convert to 4 months of Ultimate game pass. The ultimate game pass subscription
is three subscriptions in one, Xbox live gold, Game pass for console, and Game pass for PC. Here is the

There is only Game Pass Ultimate not a Game Pass Ultimate for PC.

Game Pass Ultimate is just a bundled subscription of Gold, Game Pass for console, and Game Pass for PC so you don't have to buy them all individually.

Yes with the game pass on PC you will need an Xbox live gold subscription also. Currently there is a subscription called Ultimate game pass, this subscription combines game pass for PC and console, also has Xbox live gold.

Do you have standard Game Pass for console or do you have Game Pass Ultimate? You would need Ultimate to have Game Pass on both the console and PC or a separate PC Game Pass subscription.
