    this is a really strange problem,i haven't used my xbox in a long time so, I plugged it all up to my HDMI tv, blank screen... hmm ! connects it to my neighbours tv, and it worked ! exact same cables / leads ect.., soo.. brings his xbox to my tv, and his worked !! plugs my xbox back up to my tv and it dont ! connects my xbox back to his tv using hdmi and it works ! worked on my other mates hdmi tv as well ! just dont work on mine using hdmi ?! while connected to my mates tv, we changed the hdmi settings on the xbox, connects it back to my tv, then it works !!! BUT THE COLORS ARE ALL PINK ?! cant play gta in pink mode.. lol..tried changing resolution , every 1 says 50hz not surported by my tv or something, so im stuck, is it the xbox that has a problem or the tv ?! bare in mind i had a ps4 connected up to the same tv using hdmi and it worked fine... so im a little confused, any 1 have any ideas what so ever? thanks in advanced !

    Can't connect xbox slim to tv via hdmi

    I have had the a sort-of same issue. I had my Xbox Connected to my TV and resolution 1080p, then i went to my friends house and hooked the Xbox to his TV and no Video came to the TV... As my friends TV didn't support 1080p, needed to connect it to a TV
    that supported 1080p and then i changed the Resolution to the lowest, and the connected back to the friends tv and then it worked.

    Has anyone sucessfully fixed this issue?

    I'm currently using my xbox with a component cable for over a year because my hdmi stopped working. The weird thing is that my xbox hdmi works with my sister tv, but not in mine. I even got a new tv over this year and it still does not work. Also does not
    work with my mother's tv.

    I have tried everything suggested on this thread, but with no result.
