Controller keeps disconnecting during Xbox Live sessions

Benefiting from your detailed description, I noticed that your Xbox controller disconnects frequently during gameplay.

Based on past experience, potential problems with the console and controller are the primary direction for troubleshooting.

Some wireless signal interference may also cause this problem.



Here are some initial troubleshooting and cross-testing steps:

Remove your controller from your Xbox console first.

Then you can do a Power cycle:

- Press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds.

- After the console has shut down, unplug the power cord and wait 30 seconds.

- Also remove all peripherals like Storage Expansion Cards, UBD HDDs, battery charging stations, etc.

- Plug the console back in and turn it on by pressing the Xbox button.

Then try re-add the Xbox controller.



Also, to troubleshoot your controller, you can connect it to PC, and try using a wired connection on console to see if it disconnects during gameplay.



Finally, can you tell me in which stage of which game this problem mainly occurs? Is this the only game where this problem occurs?

Okay, got to play some, but in Career Mode it gets disconnected from Autolog all the time. Also gets disconnected in Multiplayer during sessions, causing a session to end, breaking up any group of players that were playing together. This sucks!

Can't connect the controllers unless the plugged in and keep connecting and disconnecting to xbox live

Downloaded today whole game in 2hours 30 odd minutes. Doesn't seem to be bad internet. Keep disconnecting from live session after 1 minute of entering into live. Same problem here.

The little buttons on the back that slide up and down to control how far down the triggers can go have both fallen down inside the controller, the joystick has become unresponsive, and it keeps disconnecting from the xbox during play.
